Nature VS Nuture
|
The nature versus nurture issue continues to be a major debate among medical professionals and lay people alike. Many people take the position that nurture, the environment in which an individual was raised, as opposed to nature, the genes with which, and individual was born, is the determining factor for intelligence.
Today, I am here to persuade you that genetics, or nature is the primary factor in the determination of intelligence.
Studies show that nature is the actual determining factor for intelligence. Nurture does give nature a helping hand, but if one is not born with a modicum of intelligence there would be nothing to build upon.
