This case study deals with a small company with sixteen employees. The company was formed in 1996 and its general manager is making only 14.25 per hour. It sounds like that person should be looking for another job. The company is looking into creating a new managerial position called a purchasing agent. The owner asked her assistant manager to look into the pay-for-performance aspect of paying this new managerial position.
