The first statement in the United States’ Bill of Rights reads, “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise therof”. “In the Constitution, the establishment clause says the government will not force any religion on its citizens, while the free exercise clause says the government will not prevent its citizens from freely choosing and religion they want, or none at all if they choose so.” Religion is a choice, not something that should be forced upon us by our country’s government. People should have the right to practice their own religion in any way they choose. With this being said, the American government should not implement any form of secular belief, ritual, or acknowledgeme
