Group dynamicist Jacob L. Moreno found that he could reduce the amount of conflict in groups if he grouped people who liked one another. He developed the sociometry to help him accurately measure social relationships. The Research Professionals interviewed several professors in the Sociology/Criminal Justice Department. These professors were asked who is most respected, liked, and communicated within the Department. In February 2005 Dr. Inniss, Dr. Hughes, Dr. Jacques, and Emmit Hunt, all gave their opinions to complete a sociogram.
