Jim Crow, a system of laws, came together to form a white supremacy. Jim Crow was actually a man seen by Thomas “Big Daddy” Rice, a big time superstar, when he was performing in Louisville, Kentucky. During this era, white men would put on black clothes, pretending they were black, for Minstrel shows. These were extremely popular throughout the United States.
