Today if you see a young Hispanic or an African American boy walking down the street with baggy pants, lose shirt and a hood, it is easily assumed that the boy is related to a gang. People are not to be blamed for this type of assumptions, it is our society who has made us think like that. The society has labeled specific groups as gangsters. It is true that there are more gangs of African Americans and Hispanic than other race, and they commit more crime than others, but this doesn’t mean there are no other race of gangs. Gangs usually consist of young teenagers. Surprisingly there are girls in the gangs too, moreover; there are some gangs who are only consist of females.
