Nineteen Eighty-Four, a novel written by George Orwell in 1949, is a story about a future country where the population have no hope. People are controlled by a fascist government, they are constantly being watched and must conform to the government’s doctrine. They aren't allowed to speak to each other on the street, they aren't allowed to bye anything that isn't necessary.
