Nature of Logic & Perception

I understand logic to be the activity of drawing a conclusion from a body of information. I have been using logic for as long as I have been thinking, or rather consciously thinking. If I am interested in knowing the truth, then logical reasoning will expand my knowledge of the truth from the information that I have in front of me to what can be judged from that information.
I am always interested in knowing the truth, not just someone’s opinion of the truth. Who I am, and the person that I have become is due to my ideas and beliefs. How I react to any given situation is determined by my background of beliefs (enculturation) and my ideas that I bring to the situation.
