In examining Jihad vs. Mcworld, Barber acknowledges two worlds that are opposite and are on a path to destruction. Both operate under different sovereign systems and at all cost try to avoid what should be a true democracy. At the same they time seek total control, which constantly stimulates the hatred between the two. While these two worlds struggle to coexist it is Drucker’s knowledge society who struggles to exist with the constant and consistent changes of the world of Barber’s McWorld.
