Heraclitus and Parmenides views are almost the exact opposite except that they both believe that the senses can’t be trusted. Heraclitus believes that the world is in constant change, and that this change is caused by strife and tension. His belief of ultimate reality basically consist logos, which is constant motion or change. Parmenides has the opposite view believing that change and motion are impossible. He believes that what ever exist came from other things that already existed. This is the view that makes him believe that change is impossible, because what ever exist could not have come form what is not.
