The Healing Power of Music

Lonely, bored, scared, and in pain were the typical feelings during Jake’s days at the hospital. Diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia on May 30, 1996, Jake struggled to battle the disease day after day. In addition, he developed acute pancreatitis and a pancreatic pseudocyst from one of his chemotherapy drugs, and insulin dependent diabetes from the damage to his pancreas.
