I. Attention-getter: Who here enjoys Mexican food? I know I do. But, did you know that the cuisine we all know and love began its evolution from cannibalism?
II. Establish credibility: The history of different international cuisines has always been interesting to me. When I am eating a very good dish of food I always end up wondering where the food comes from, how did it become what we eat today? I have read books on the history if many types of different cuisines, but the most fascinating is Mexican cuisine. When I was younger I had a nanny from Mexico and the food she fixed for me was so different from anything I had had before.
