The following is a reaction to the material The Search for Meaning presented by Dr. Kang-nam Oh. I will be show positives and negatives about the material. I will also state my personal reactions throughout followed by a conclusion.
The first chapter What is Meant By Religion? is an excellent introduction to the remainder of the material. By using the “frog example” to explain how we as people view the world in there present state is great, by showing the frog having an awaking experience. With the frog evolving with a “new way of thinking, a new way of life, a new value-system and a new frame of reference” shows that by the frog having this ultimate experience he is now starting to understand the real world.
