In the Lois Scharf’s selection about Eleanor Roosevelt, she states that Eleanor Roosevelt’s actions and visions did have focus and definition in her efforts to achieve government assistance and administered assistance for those who could not help themselves, and achieving that goal was the primary vision of her activities. That being said, I believe that most of the primary sources (2-12) do, in fact, support Lois Scharf’s thesis about the activities and goals of Eleanor Roosevelt.
