“Presenter Behaviors: Actions often speak louder than words,” by Lillian Chaney and Catherine Green in The American Salesman (April 2002) is an article discussing elements of nonverbal communication and their correlation to successful business presentations. I concur with the authors’ assessment of each element. In addition to concurrence, I believe that each element is important to remember when giving a presentation. Furthermore, I concur that eye contact is the most important element of nonverbal communication. I recently attended a presentation by Lieutenant General James Helmly, Chief of the Army Reserve.
