Water Above The Water Below, The Origin of Noah’s Floodwater

ABSTRACT
The Bible tells us that God created Noah’s flood from 40 days and 40 nights of rain. The source of the rain has lead many to believe that the biblical reference to the water above the water below, is a reference to the belief that the earth was encircled by a layer of water in a stable orbit above the Earth. Therefore the source of the rainwater was the water layer in orbit that was destabilized by an unknown event, which resulted in the source of water for Noah’s flood. However, a stable orbit of a layer water would have been an opaque layer that would have prevented light from passing thereby making the Earth uninhabitable. Noah’s floodwater was a miracle from God.
