Idea of American dream, of better life, future, financial success… gives hope. Hope that if you work hard enough you will have everything you want, and no pedigree is necessary. You are creator of your own life, so try and risk… All people dream along the day many times, all dreams are different, and exclusive. Unfortunately not all dreams come true. But, I believe, that everything is in our hands, and at least one, but the most desirable dream will come true. However, authors and books included in this paper, break the illusion of American dream. In all these books characters somehow fail their dreams, fail their American dream.
