Let us begin with a simple, atheistic conception of the universe: The universe exists for no discernable reason. No God exists. Subsequently, no value may exist for ideas such as morality, happiness, death, etc. Our universe simply does not matter.
We must first create a hierarchy of the levels of human understanding:
(1) The Universal level – this is totality of the universe, of all things physical and metaphysical. The highest question of this level is the universal question itself.
Physical
(2) The Physical level – this level examine the universe based on the aggregate of all its individual parts.
