Vegetaianism is an ancient custom. It has a strong
bond with religion but these days the reasons
for becoming vegetarian are leaning towards
cultural and health reasons.It has existed for a long
time among Hindu and Buddhist
religions that consider animal life as sacred.
By cutting so many food groups out of the diet, a
vegetarian may fail to have the correct balance of protein,
vitamins and minerals.

More if they are pregnant, or very active. Men need about
