Many people, whether they are famous or not, donate to charity organizations and other non-profit groups in their communities. Everyone has different reasons for doing it. Famous and rich people may make donations to better their own name in society, but undoubtedly some do it out of kindness and generosity. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are many average and low-income people who donate or volunteer their time towards helping other people solely for the personal satisfaction. Two very well-known women who have impacted the lives of thousands even millions are Mother Teresa and Oprah Winfrey. In their respective lifetimes, both Mother Teresa and Oprah Winfrey have helped better the lives of underprivileged people through mission
