Statistical Analysis of Kiplinger Magazine's Best Buys 2003

INTRODUCTION: Kiplinger Magazine annually ranks the top one-hundred best buys of universities and colleges in the United States. The 2003 ranking was based on thirteen measurable characteristics that Kiplinger Magazine used. Our objective was to measure how our college could rank in the top one-hundred best buys. The assignment was to gather, analyze, and obtain a relationship between four selected measurable characteristics within thirty randomly selected colleges. We initially sorted the list (http://www.kiplinger.com/tools/colleges) by In-State 2003 rank, then by ascending alphabetical state order.
