John Fitzgerald Kennedy
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29th, 1917, in Brookline Massachusetts. John Kennedy grew up in a happy, lively family, supervised by maids and nurses. He first attended local private schools and then at the age of 13 went off to New Milford, Connecticut, to a catholic boarding school. In college he first went to Princeton, but was cut short do to an illness. That following autumn he transferred to Harvard. He Graduated from Harvard in June, of 1940. Late in 1941 he enlisted in the U.S. navy and, as commander of a motor torpedo (PT) boat, took part in operations against the Japanese navy in the Solomon Islands in the southwest Pacific.
