The Arthur legends have made a very big impact on literature all over the world. Arthur has been looked upon through many perspectives such as fantasy and contemporary. Almost every child that has grown up knowing at least one story version of King Arthur and the round table. Or have dress as Knight for Halloween or built a fort in their backyard and call it Camelot.
The stories of Arthur hold many magical aspects to them. Most of the women are goddesses and/or enchantresses, which hold many magical powers. And the stories stay on a realistic side, by having both men and women being saints and sinners. Also there is a lot of symbolism that is found in Arthur tales. Guinivere, Arthur’s queen, represents contradictions of love.
