Management Functions Within My Organization
Without good management, the company I work for would fail miserably. I have learned that it takes a lot more than just hard work and a good idea to run a business successfully. Therefore, I will use this paper to describe the four functions of management, according to (Dessler, Gary 7-8), and how they can properly be applied to improve the likelihood of my company continuing to move forward in a very competitive marketplace.
The first function is planning. Where I work, this is of tremendous importance to our success. My job is to generate as many sales in a territory that extends from Modesto, CA to Santa Rosa CA
