Banning, where does it stop and who decides what book should be banned? This is a question that I made to myself when I knew that The Catcher in the Rye had been banned in many schools and possibly even banned at Fenton. I cannot seem to find a good enough reason as to why The Catcher in the Rye should be banned. The Catcher in the Rye is showing the reader what true life is really like. Although, the book those include obscenities, sexual situations, and violent situations, I do not believe these reasons are strong enough to ban the book.
