Matthew Margolies would be thirty-one if he hadn’t been brutally murdered. It all started on Friday, August 31, 1984 when Matthew left to go to the river for some fishing. Witnesses remember Matthew stopping at the deli for a Danish and a container of milk. He fished in the morning and before noon an employee from a local shopping center saw Matthew coming up the Byram’s bank with his rod and a trout (that was found in the sink of his grandmother, Stella Miazga.) No one is really sure what Matthew Margolies did from that point on, but it is assumed that at 2:00pm he was at the deli asking about another resident who owned a boat, but he was out of town.
