Malcolm X was one of the greatest black revolutionary leaders who articulated concepts of race pride and Black Nationalism in the early 1960s. He was a great role model for anyone, not just for African Americans. He came off as a strong human being with a wonderful wealth of knowledge which captivated all of his audience. Malcolm X was simply one of the most monumental speakers of all time. Childhood Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. His mother, Louise Norton Little, was a homemaker occupied with the family's eight children.
