How well do students learn from these courses and does the added knowledge change the behavior of the enlightened students? Laurie Stevahn, David W. Johnson, Roger T. Johnson and Ray Schultz set out to measure the effects of conflict resolution training integrated into a high school social studies curriculum. In our violence prone schools and neighborhoods the ability to master conflict resolution could be an invaluable skill for adolescents.
