Eating is a regular and normal activity every human being must do to survive. It’s essential to life. But what happens when eating becomes a problem? In my case, this has been a problem all my life. My addiction is food and a fear of getting fat.
It all started in fourth grade (always at lunch time) I started to become self-conscious about how much food I would put on my tray. This wasn’t a problem for me before fourth grade, until I felt like everybody would watch me, stare at me, and gossip. Kids in my class would say things like, “God she’s such a pig!”, or “You really shouldn’t be eating all that.” Sentences like that started to take over my mind.
