Journal Entry #10 Film: Bread and Roses Bread and Roses focuses on the lives of janitorial workers and their struggles for decent wages, accessible healthcare, and respect. The two sisters, Rosa and Maya, immigrated to Los Angeles from Mexico. Once in the United States they obtained jobs working as janitors for the Angel Cleaning Company.
