In the case of Village of Skokie vs. The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) I would chose to stand with the ACLU. The ACLU was defending the First Amendment Right, a right promised to every American no matter Race, Ethnicity, or Political Belief. The ACLU was not defending the Nazis, but rather attempting to preserve our often fought for right. Although most of America did not and does not believe in or agree with what the Nazi’s were saying, they still, by the First Amendment had that right to say it.
