In Niccolo Machiavelli’s famous treatise, The Prince, Machiavelli blatantly boasts his cynicism on the nature of human kind. Machiavelli states simply his distaste for men and his mistrust of their motivations. While his ruminations about the leaders he has observed demonstrates instability in the political world, his thoughts on the nature of men are even more revealing.
