Speculating Causes Why don’t more people vote. Why are politics complicated? Many people say they don’t vote because they don’t care. That is very ignorant. I think that if everyone has a say so in society they should take it. I feel that any reader can benefit from learning some simple facts on why the general public thinks that politics are complicated. Politics are a big game played by those individuals who are “elected” to “play” it. Most of our society doesn’t vote due to what they heard or watched in advertisements (such as slander), or because of a “popular” party (everyone’s voting for them).
