Motivation and Enthusiasm are key factors for a successful teacher. Children see teachers as their role-model and if they display a positive attitude in the classroom to what they are teaching, children will automatically pick-up on it and take on a positive attitude also. Reflecting on when I was in school, teachers who stand out and I remember well are those teachers who were fun and made learning interesting and captivating. Science is a great subject area to be positive and enthusiastic about anyway because no doubt most children are already interested because they are always wanting to find out more about the world in which they live.
