Religion today is viewed mainly as personal choice but religion is much more. It offers explanation, values, and beliefs. Religion can give meaning to a lot of things but it can also put a lot into question. As a practicing Catholic, I look to my religion for my purpose in life. I also look to my religion to know exactly what happens to me after my time on earth.. When many people think of Jews the first thought that comes to mind is the Holocaust although this is just one of the many struggles that Jews have had to face through their time. What do Jews believe? In Judaism, actions are far more important than beliefs, although there is certainly a place for belief in Judaism.
