War and the Affect on the Economy

My research paper is going to examine the effects on the economy leading up to, during, and after a time of war. In the past to my knowledge war has actually stimulated our economy. World War II was one of the main things that pulled us out of the great depression. In the time of war there are many more jobs that are created. My companies will get contracted to make things for our armed forces. Since there is a need for workers people that would otherwise have a hard time finding jobs would now be able to find work. Again in World War II, there was a high demand for workers and lots of the men were the ones that were at war.
