“If you build it, he will come”. Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) hears a voice one night in the corn fields telling him to build a baseball field in the movie Field of Dreams. Several days later, he hears the voice again and as he looks over to the field, he sees a vision of the ball field and “Shoeless” Joe Jackson staring back at him. There are two reasons why Ray wants to build the baseball field, to see “Shoeless” Joe Jackson play again and to be spontaneous, since his father was not.
