Nature of Logic to critical Thinking
What is logic?
According to Dr. Charles D. Tate (the diamond of logic), logic is a four-step process, it begins with observation and ends with verification. The other two steps are generalization and prediction. These fours steps are divided into two phases:
1) Induction
2) Deduction
One thing we do constantly is deduced: we draw conclusions from other things we observed, knew, remember, perceived, and found out. We start first by observing our surrounding environment, and then proceeding to draw conclusions based on certain behaviors and patterns.
