Character synopsis of a street car named desire
|
In the story A Streetcar Named Desire certain characters play different roles and have different personalities that determine what he or she will do in the book. Blanche and Stanley in the book express their tainted personalities by lying and in Stanley’s case even rapping a woman, and manipulating his own wife into betraying her sister. In the other hand there is Stella and Mitch who are completely innocent in the story, and are only the witness Blanches and Stanley’s feud.
Stanley is the husband of Stella. Stella is comforted by Stanley’s love towards her, but Stanley tends to sometimes get carried away when they fight and Stanley sometimes hit’s Stella. He often treats her as a peace of meat, which is described in this quote from
