My law is to ban the manufacture of cigarettes across Canada. It will prevent teenagers and adults to pick up this deadly habit, therefor providing a healthier environment. The government has made laws of banning smoking in restaurants and most public transportation and even has put warning signs on the packages. All of these precautions have solved basically nothing because tobacco causes 4 times as many deaths compared to motor vehicle crashes, suicide, homicide, and aids combined in Ontario. In Ontario cigarettes account for 1/6 of deaths and are the largest contributor to cancer.
