Historically and presently, business has relied on the exploitation of labor to maximize profits. Even in the early days of America, business acquired overwhelming profits at the worker’s expense. Mostly fueled by the flow of immigrants, low-paying jobs flourished as company owners discovered how desperate the workers were. Today, companies still maximize profits by exploiting unknowledgeable workers.
