We, the people ……write to you today because it has been brought to our attention that in our high school, our children are forced to read Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. We believe that The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn should be banned from our school system. I say this because all this book does, is teach our children to do immoral things like go against the church or their religion. It also teaches kids to rebel against authority and to run away from their homes. Further more it stereotypes blacks and makes derogatory remarks against them (racist comments).
