Education Requirements for Extra-curricular Activities
High School students should have to obtain a “C” average to participate in extra-curricular activities. Many high school students are not learning the material as well as they should. Many of these students are involved in extra-curricular activities that only require students to have grades above “F’s”. If we change the requirements then students will try harder and therefore have a better understanding of the subjects.
Today’s school systems are placing too much emphasis on sports and other extra-curricular activities. School is set up for students to learn things to help them as they go on in life. Many people who are involved in sports slide by with low “D’s” and are still eligible. This is not a great way of learning. Student
