Have you ever thought how it would be like if you ever have to live away from your husband and the only form of communication were letters? Abigail Adams certainly knew how this felt. Like other women of the time, Abigail lacked education; but her curiosity made her intelligent along with reading of ancient History books. Reading created a bond between her and John Adams, Harvard graduate who had a career in law. Abigail and John Adams were married on October 25, 1764 and had a very loving relationship.
