Foreign Policy according to the Webster’s Dictionary is defined as “a policy governing international relations.” This policy is what makes the U.S. involved in international affairs. An example of this policy is the Vietnam War, an affair that occurred in Southern Asia. The Vietnam War was a long destructive war; caused by Communism and a fear that communism would spread. The Vietnam War is a war, which the U.S. got involved in due to the Cold War and the fear of Communism spreading.
