There has been recent debate between the National Association of Realtors and Internet-based real-estate agents in a recent Wall Street Journal news article. The National Association of Realtors, which is a power trade association for the nation’s real-estate agents, has challenged the new, fast growing internet based real-estate agents and has passed new rules to prevent them from posting certain listings online. The National Associations attempt to do this is because their new internet competitors are charging lower then usual commissions (less than 6%).
