Monorails: Transportation of the Future

Today monorails are not very well known as a standard for transportation. There are not many built in comparison to railroads, subways, and streetcars, yet the way monorails have been engineered give them several advantages over these. There are even different types of monorails, each unique in their own way, but all monorails have the same general advantages.
