Without a doubt, discrimination presently still exists. Today, discrimination is not bluntly evident, but subtle. No longer is discrimination written in laws, but instead subtly practiced by individuals. It is practiced through stereotypes, prejudices, and favoring or disliking certain individuals on the basis of sex or race. Due to subtle discrimination and past overt discrimination, certain ethnic groups and women are put at a disadvantage. One suggestion to remedy this is reverse discrimination. “Preferential treatment or reverse discrimination is morally right, just so long as it isn’t taken to the extreme of specific quotas and target dates.” Some may agree with this statement, and believe that reverse discrimination creates equal opp
