A tradition Irish session allows friends to get together year-round to play the music they love in a pub (Huggins). The Irish music sessions at Molly Quinn’s, E Lake Street, Minneapolis, are held every Monday and Friday night Beginning roughly around eight o’clock. Each performer come on their own with their instruments in hand, and the music in their heads.
Molly Quinn’s is a small Irish pub; seating no more than eight people at the bar, and with only fifteen or so tables. Adults of all ages, from a ninety-two year-old lady to a group of college students, come and go as they please which includes the musicians.
