LAST week I was on the television talk show "Get Real with Ces Drilon" discussing teenage sexuality, together with Dr. Corie Raymundo of the UP Population Institute (UPPI) and Aurora Silayan-Go of the Foundation for Adolescent Development.
The last part of the show centered on teaching teenage girls to "just say no." The discussions here made me realize how we reinforce existing gender inequities by leaving the responsibility of "saying no" to the girl.
